Eligibility Criteria of WB TET Exam
Residentship: Candidates must be a permanent resident of West Bengal
Eligibility:
| HS Passed (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education |
| HS Passed (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year’s Bachelor of Education (B.El,Ed) |
| HS Passed (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and having a Diploma in Education (Special Education) a course recognized by the Rehabilitaion Council of India (RCI) shall also be considered. |
| Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Eduaction (B.Ed.) |
* 5% relaxation of marks in senior secondary or its equivalent examination (i.e. 45%) will be allowed for the ST, SC, OBC, EC category candisates.
